What is robbery?

• Robbery is defined as the act of taking money or property from someone through the use or threat of physical force. This crime involves the direct confrontation or intimidation of the victim to unlawfully obtain their valuables.

• Call 9-1-1 for emergencies (police, fire or medical) where an immediate response is needed. This includes lives in danger or a crime in-progress. 

• Otherwise, call your local police non-emergency number.
