Citizens' Report Program

Empower community reporting for a safer Chinatown.

Our volunteers help the public to address their issues and questions. We offer a safe space for the clients to discuss their concerns. Police would not be contacted without clients’ consent. We also provided Cantonese / Mandarin interpretation to clients who are not fluent in English for criminal related, non-emergency matters.

As a volunteer, your roles are:

Pick up phone calls
Assist walk-in clients
Administrative tasks assigned by staff members

To be eligible for becoming a volunteer:

Be 19 years old or older
Able to communicate in English
Pass the Vancouver Police Department Criminal Record Check

Mandarin or Cantonese speaking are NOT required. Training will be provided!
